Mono Tone is a solo acoustic show…with attitude! You take the lead singer/guitar player from the band Tone Deaf, give him a microphone, an acoustic guitar and a harmonica or five, and you have Mono Tone. Clever name, eh? So, let’s just assume for the sake of argument this guy, Mark, has a clue and can sing and play guitar. Fairly safe bet there. So, what sets him apart from everyone else? To start with, he will play almost anything on an acoustic guitar. I mean, Van Morrison to Van Halen, nothing is sacred. Add to that a large repertoire of songs, an “If I can hum it, I can play it” attitude, and a sense of humour to boot, you get Mono Tone.
Mark has been performing since he was thirteen, acoustically and in bands. He is considerably older than that by now, by the way. One of his favorite types of venues has always been the campfire at the cottage routing. This is what he likes to bring to every venue he plays… a “pull up a picnic table and join in” kind of vibe! An audience is all the accompaniment he needs… no request is off limits… the human jukebox… just don’t ask where to put the quarters!
From patios to large parties, Mono tone can rise to any occasion. Pull up a pint and join in!
